The rosé-dress... a long time project

LONG TIME PROJECT!

I am working at this dress for over one year!

I don´t know why, but somehow it seem never to be finished.
Have you had ever such a project?

Soon is summer and it would be so nice to wear it finally this year.

The pattern is a bit difficult at the top of the dress.
So if you´re a beginner you need to practice some parts with a separate yarn for example.
The main part with the increasing is quiet easy!

And I love the old-rose color!

I am planning to knit this dress some day with different colors.
It seems a bit boring with just one color.
But in the end I could wear a black belt and a blank bolero with it.
Or a dark pink jacket.
When you knit a dress only in one color you have much more choices with accessorizes.

Placemats for the springtime

ENJOY THE SPRING
with crotchets!

Very easy to crochet in just single chain.

Crochet first 57 chains in a row plus one chain at the end for the turn.
Then go row by row until the height is about 20 cm.
Use the second color of your choice and crochet one side in length and one side in height.
4 rows!
The edge, crochet 2 single chains without connecting, then connect with the next chain.
Do this twice.
2 ch without connection, 1 basic chain, 2 ch with connection.
Then go on with the row.

So I had, 4 rows blue
4 rows yellow
4 rows blue
and
4 rows yellow

To finish crochet 4 rows around the complete place-mat.
HERE YOU GO!

ENJOY YOUR SPRING!

Broken round needle

Nice pattern going on at my newest dress.

I still have to knit about 15 cm and increase a bit more chains for the waist.
Size will be in S! Let´s see how I fit in it, as my baby bump is just growing.
:)

And by the way, I just sat on the needle and it broke in 3 pieces!
Shops are already closed, as it is Sunday evening...
So I hope the tape will last at least for this evening.
Tomorrow after work: shopping new needle in this size -.-
ARG!

Pink Tunic

Very easy to tunic to knit.
Yarn I used was Drops Cotton Light, in this beautiful pink.

Upper pattern looks hard, but was very easy to knit too!

Looks good with a belt and fits also for a baby-bump :)

Nice side picture.

This was a very fast pattern from Garnstudio.
It took me maybe about 4-5 weeks to finish.

You need about 400 g (for size S ) yarn from Drops Cotton Light. (for the pink: number 18)
And a round needle in size 3,5 and 3.

Tunic for the summer or pregnancy

I finally finished my long-time project!
It took me about half a year to complete it, because of the beautiful pattern.

The backside.

I think I will wear this with a belt.
And when my tummy is slowly growing to the spring/summer, I will have a perfect dress even for hot days.
:)

Side view with the belt

It was easy to knit, but the pattern will take you a long time!!!

The top.
Nice pattern in the yarn "Safran" from Drops.
