The rosé-dress... a long time project

LONG TIME PROJECT!

I am working at this dress for over one year!

I don´t know why, but somehow it seem never to be finished.

Have you had ever such a project?

Soon is summer and it would be so nice to wear it finally this year.

The pattern is a bit difficult at the top of the dress.

So if you´re a beginner you need to practice some parts with a separate yarn for example.

The main part with the increasing is quiet easy!

And I love the old-rose color!

I am planning to knit this dress some day with different colors.

It seems a bit boring with just one color.

But in the end I could wear a black belt and a blank bolero with it.

Or a dark pink jacket.

When you knit a dress only in one color you have much more choices with accessorizes.

I finally finished the dress!

It´s perfect!!!

Without a belt.

It´s not so good without a belt or is it?

how to put the sleeves on the dress

The interesting part was easier then I thought!

Sleeves!

So I made the short sleeve at a separate knitting round-needle first. 

And I ended 8 stitches for the sleeve at both sides on the dress.

Here you can see the different parts together.

And then you just have to knit the sleeves stitches to the dress and after this you continue with the stitches of the dress normally.

After knitting and continuing the patter the sleeve slowly gets in nice shape.

Both sleeves at the dress.

I really hope my arms will fit in there ;)

It´ll be a very nice dress in the end!

IT WILL BE FINISHED SOON!!!!

60 cm of the dress

So I am knitting and knitting and got 60 cm ready.

When I am at 66 cm the arm-work begins....

A very beautiful dress coming to be finished soon, in a very beautiful color!

I love this!

The diagram M.2 is for the edge.

slowly... growing so slowly...

So I am still on it!

I am knitting and knitting, increasing and increasing...

3 times and the increasing is over, then I am going again to getting more!

Soon the hard part is coming, the arms and the head-way!

It could already be a nice skirt!

But I am continuing for my final dress!

continuing, beautiful knit

I did this pattern for the first time and it turns out perfectly!

The smooth pattern looks like made from the machine.

I am kind of proud of it!

So a small part is just finished and still a looooong knit before me.
