wrist warmer - a fast crochet

In between of my turquoise dress I made these beauties! :)

As the autumn slowly arrives in Finland I had to crochet some wrist warmers.

A very easy and fast crochet.

I struggled a bit to crochet them into the same size.
In the end I had to go away from the original pattern and to crochet by how they looked and by my own feeling.

For this crochet I used the yarn "Nako- Lame".
A nice premium polyester yarn with decent glitter!

I love the color!
Black-violet is one of my favorites!

Finished flower-bag

It´s finished!

So this is the final work.
I love the flowers on the net.

I made a button outside to get a hold and to be sure that nothings jumping out by accident. :)

I bought a cheap textile from a second-hand shop for the inlay.
So nothing can slip trough the crochets, like a pen.
I sew it by hand, as I have no machine.
I should by one. ;)

Beautiful closer look at the flowers and butterflies

Please message me for more information.

Butterfly - my first crochet try!!!

Have a look at such a great butterfly!!!
Not bad for my first try, isn´t it?
:)

A closer look.

To crochet this butterfly it took me about 5 hours.
It was easy to make, but much to concentrate for and to count!
Again, if you count strictly, you can get perfect crochets at the end.
:)

PATTERN AT THE END!!!

3 sweeties and a little flower

The little ones are more cute.
I haven´t really made them by instruction.
I just made them from a photo at google and tried it by myself.

I love the color combination!

Here´s the pic for the big butterfly!
Enjoy!!!

Flowers! Wanna know how to crochet them?

Here´s a collection of the flowers to decorate my bag

Maybe they are not perfect, but still good looking.
:)

So after you make single flowers you can combine them!

And so you have a nice flower-combination with different kind of colors.
It´s a nice look also from the side.

Wanna know how to crochet flowers?
Take a hook of your choice and a yarn in 2 colors and start!!!
It´s much easier, then you think!

Large flower: crochet round 1 to 5.

Small flower: crochet round 1 to 3 only.

Crochet 4 ch and form a ring with a sl st.
Round 1: 1 ch, 6 dc in ring.
Round 2: * 1 dc in dc, 3 ch*, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times and finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round = 6 ch-loops.
Round 3: 1 ch, and crochet as follows in each ch-loop: 1 dc,1 ch, 3 tr, 1 ch, 1 dc.
Finish small flower here.
Round 4: Turn piece, * 1 dc in dc from Round 1, 5 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times and finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round = 6 ch-loops.
Round 5: 1 ch, and crochet as follows in each ch-loop: 1 dc,1 ch, 5 tr, 1 ch, 1 dc. Finish large flower here.

nearly finished

Here you can see my actual work.
The bag is nearly finished.
I love the colour with the glitter inside!

The bag is as big as a little bottle figures in it.
Of course there´s more space for the wallet and other stuff.
Now I am going to crochet the accessorizes.

No no no!

What a mess!
I haven´t checked my wool-basket and yesterday evening I recognized that my black wool ended!!!

In the middle of the project.
And the time was so late, that I couldn´t go and buy more.

That sucks! I was so much into crochet and I really wanted to finish it.
It is sooooooo close to be ready.

So that´s a new lesson for me.
-> Always check your yarn before starting a project!

But a good thing is, that I need a new hook for my next project.
So at the same time I can go shopping more. :)

Is there a good online-shop for yarn and wool ordering????
A cheap one would be nice too. :)
Send me a message!!!

The new project - double trouble

Double Trouble!
The first time I crochet with 2 yarn at once!
It´s easier then I thought. For this project you actually should use 3 soft yarn, but as I haven´t soft yarn I chose what I got at home and here we go!
I love the glitter wool. I bought it in Prague, Czech Republic.
And I am not telling yet what it´s gonna to be in the end. Follow my blog and you´ll see!
:)

How many of you use bamboo-hook?
It´s my first hook ever and I got many steel hook in different sizes, but I always prefer the bamboo.
Unfortunately I own just bamboo-hook in size 4. But luckily for this crotchet I needed size 4!
Perfect!
I never worked with an plastic-hook before.

I love to check out second-hand shops. I found many of the old steel-hooks for only 50 cents in different sizes.
So as advice for beginners with short money. Go and check out your second-hand shops! You always can find surprises! :)

my first bolero

As there is summer now and I wanted to do something else then clothes for the winter I started with my first bolero crochets.
To crochet is very easy and fast.

For Christmas I got some wool from germany. I do not remember the wool type.
It´s soft and not itchy on the skin.

I found this crotchet as a free pattern on www.garnstudio.com .

It turns out a bit too big for myself.
I learned that you have to be really strict with the measure and have to count very much.

But i like this bolero. It´s good over shirts and dresses.
Black is definitely my favorite color for knits and crochets.

I finished this bolero in march 2013.
