Polar Bear Hoody crochet

After the birth of my little angel I had finally time to knit and crochet again!

Here I made the polar bear hoody.

I bought the yarn in a small shop at my vacations in Budapest some years ago.

Online you can find many patters for the hoody, but if you have crochet before you can easily crochet it without! 

Many online patters are expensive. Maybe you can See here how easy it is!

If I have time later I will write a short construction you can read here for free!

Of course the way I made it 😉

And here we go again.

I made the same hat before in a softer yarn with glitter.

This hat is ordered by my cousin in turquoise and black!

I love the contrast between the colors.

The snow-flake turned out perfectly!!!

glitter shawl / triangle scarf

Here we go again! :)

So I use the rest of my nice Novita Säde yarn and decided to crochet a shawl.

It´ll be a triangle scarf, hopefully :)

I want to make a line-design, but I am not decided how I go on from now.

the glitter woolly hat is finished!!!!!!!!

I LOVE IT!

JUST SOME LITTLE MISTAKES HERE AND THERE.

It was very new to me knit with pictures and structures.

It sits perfectly and hopefully keeps my head warm this winter :)

A quick update to my glitter snow-flake-hat :)

So much till now.

It´s nearly finished.

If you have a close look you can see some mistakes.

But as I remember you, it´s my first time knitting pictures!!!!

And I am very proud of myself, that it looks so beautiful!

So I am at my new project.

Last winter I bought this nice yarn from Novita.

So I use 2 colors. White and soft violet with glitter.

Maybe the yarn is a bit too thin for my woolly hat, but I wanna try it.

It´s nice to have a woolly hat for not so cold days.

You know in Finland winter can be very strong and you need thick clothes to stay warm.

Slowly the pattern grows and I love the color combination!

wrist warmer - a fast crochet

In between of my turquoise dress I made these beauties! :)

As the autumn slowly arrives in Finland I had to crochet some wrist warmers.

A very easy and fast crochet.

I struggled a bit to crochet them into the same size.

In the end I had to go away from the original pattern and to crochet by how they looked and by my own feeling.

For this crochet I used the yarn "Nako- Lame".

A nice premium polyester yarn with decent glitter!

I love the color!

Black-violet is one of my favorites!

I love the colour with the glitter inside!

The bag is as big as a little bottle figures in it. 

Of course there´s more space for the wallet and other stuff.

Now I am going to crochet the accessorizes.

The new project - double trouble

Double Trouble!

The first time I crochet with 2 yarn at once!
It´s easier then I thought. For this project you actually should use 3 soft yarn, but as I haven´t soft yarn I chose what I got at home and here we go!

I love the glitter wool. I bought it in Prague, Czech Republic.

And I am not telling yet what it´s gonna to be in the end. Follow my blog and you´ll see!

How many of you use bamboo-hook? 

It´s my first hook ever and I got many steel hook in different sizes, but I always prefer the bamboo.

Unfortunately I own just bamboo-hook in size 4. But luckily for this crotchet I needed size 4! 

Perfect!

I never worked with an plastic-hook before.

I love to check out second-hand shops. I found many of the old steel-hooks for only 50 cents in different sizes. 

So as advice for beginners with short money. Go and check out your second-hand shops! You always can find surprises! :)

a fast knit for girls, good idea as birthday gift

I just remembered in time, that we were invited to a birthday party of a 1 year young little girl.
We already had a present, but I decided very fast to knit her a little blouse.
I got this giant-wool (400g) from germany and I love the color of salmon!

The yarn is very soft and perfect for children.

And so it took only 2 days to create this for me. :)

Basic knit with different pieces.
First you have to knit the back, then the front parts and the sleeves at the end.

After this I sew it all together by hand and got a lovely crochet around.

I bought the violet yarn at my holidays in Prague, Czech Republic.

The yarn has glitter-yarn. I love it!

So my other work is still waiting.
